The Group Widget

The Group Widget is a formatting element that is used to contain one or more widgets in a logical collection.

In the left menu, the Group Widget can be identified by this graphic:

To place a Group Widget on a form drag the icon onto the form using your mouse (or finger if using a mobile device)

Once the Group Widget has been placed on a form it appears as below - including formatting controls:

The Group Widget is a layout widget and, as such, is not visible to the user but widgets placed inside the Group Widget remain visible.

To place Widgets inside the Group drag the Widget from the left Widget Palette.

Group Widgets can be configured with Rules to control visibility.  Any Widgets contained within the Group Widget will be subject to the Rules placed on the group.
