The Text Widget

The Text Widget provides the ability to display formatted text.  It does not capture information.

In the widget palette, the Text Widget can be identified by this graphic:

To add a Text Widget, drag the icon onto the form using your mouse (or finger for mobile devices). It will appear as shown in the form editor.

Customizing Text

1. Click the edit icon ( )to open the left configuration panel.
2. In the left configuration panel click the Content icon () to configure the text to be displayed:
   
   
   
   The formatting bar provides options to customize and adjust the appearance of the text.  These options include:

• The customizing text section:  () includes features such as:
  • Bold
  • Italic
  • Underline
  • Colour
  • Font size.
• The formatting text section: ( ) includes features such as:
  • An unordered list
  • Text alignment
  • Linking an outside website/article/document/etc...
  • Inputting a table
