Before you Begin
In order to connect questions and activities in the Erbium platform to a Zoom Webinar you will need an active Zoom Pro account with the Webinar Add-On package.
Schedule a Webinar
- Login to your Zoom account at https://www.zoom.us/
- Under the PERSONAL section of your Zoom menu navigate to Webinars:
- Click "Schedule a Webinar"
- Provide a Topic for the Webinar, as well as the When date and time, the Duration and the Time Zone. Also be sure to check that both Registration and Passcode are Required.
- Click the "Schedule" button to create the webinar
Disable Zoom Confirmation Emails (Optional)
According to the default email settings Zoom will automatically send a confirmation email to the participant upon registration. This feature can be disabled by following these steps
- Under the PERSONAL section of your Zoom menu navigate to Webinars:
- Click on the name of the webinar you wish to configure - "My Webinar" in the example below:
- From the top menu select "Email Settings":
- The default setting for Confirmation Email is to send upon registration. To disable this feature click "Edit"
- Deselect "Send Confirmation Email to Registrants"
- The Email will display as "currently turned off"
